Dual Enrollment is a program offered to juniors and seniors who have at least a 3.0 GPA. The program allows them to take college level courses through BC3 on the FASD campus. Classes are Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 6:50am - 7:50am. The courses are 3 college credits and a total of 36 credit hours. The courses are highly transferable.
In addition to email and phone, I also use the Remind App to keep students in touch with the course after school hours. Parents are welcome to join Remind as well. Simply enter 81010 and text that to @econ101s
This is a wonderful opportunity for students to get a college experience and learn what is going to be expected of them in the near future.
I have been employed with the Farrell Area School District for over 11 1/2 years. I am a Business teacher in the Business Education Department and I am also a certified Middle School Mathematics teacher.
I earned my Bachelor's Degree from Westminster College, my MBA from Geneva College and my PA Teaching Certification from Robert Morris University. I am an accredited adjunct professor for BC3, accredited to teach a number of courses in both the Business and Sociology disciplines.
I am advisor to Student Council and FBLA. I supervise the School Store which falls under the Business Curriculum. I am also the district's Bookkeeper of Student and Employee Activity accounts.
