AEDY Principal
The Farrell Area School District is accepting applications for a Principal, Grades 7-12, for the 2023-2024 school year. This is a 10-month position available starting July 1, 2023. The 10-month Principal will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the District’s in-house Alternative Education for Disruptive Youth Program for students in grades 7-12 and the District’s K-12 cyber program. Send letter, resume, transcripts, five references, copies of PA Certification, Act 33/34 Clearances, FBI Fingerprint Report, TB Tine Test to the Farrell Area School District, c/o Dr. Lora Adams-King, 1600 Roemer Boulevard, Farrell, PA 16121.

AEDY Security Officer
The Farrell Area School District is accepting applications for a full-time Security Officer for our in-house Alternative Education for Disruptive Youth program beginning in the 2023-2024 school year. The candidate should have police and/or security experience, experience working with youth (preferably in a school setting), successfully completed the Basic School Resource Officer Course or equivalent, and possess or be able to readily receive Act 1974, P.L. 705, No. 235 - Lethal Weapons Training Act certificate. 

Submit application/resume, 3 letters of reference, TB tine test results, Act 33, Act 34, and current (within 1 year) FBI fingerprint report to the Farrell Area School District, c/o Dr. Lora Adams-King, 1600 Roemer Blvd, Farrell, PA 16121.

AEDY Teacher
The Farrell Area School District is accepting applications for a full-time teacher responsible for educating students in grades 7-12 assigned to our in-house Alternative Education for Disruptive Youth program. Various PA teaching
certifications will be considered, but a candidate with multiple teaching certifications, including 7-12 Special Education, is strongly preferred. Send letter, resume, transcripts, three  references, copies of PA Certification, Act 33/34 Clearances, FBI Fingerprint Report, TB Tine Test to the Farrell Area School District, c/o Dr. Lora Adams-King, 1600 Roemer Boulevard, Farrell, PA 16121.

WIN Summer Academy Teachers
The Farrell Area School District is accepting applications for WIN Summer Academy teachers. The district’s summer program will run from June 5, 2023 through July 13, 2023 from 8 am to 1 pm Monday through Thursday.  WIN Summer Academy teachers will be paid a rate of $50 per hour.  Applicants
should be PA certified.  

The following positions are available for the WIN Summer Academy:  
  • Multiple elementary teacher positions.  
  • (2) 7-12 Credit Recovery teachers (multiple certifications will be considered)
Please submit PA Standard teaching application, copy of certification and letter of interest to FASD c/o Dr. Lora Adams-King, Supt, 1600 Roemer Blvd, Farrell, PA 16121 along with 3 reference letters and a copy of current Act 34, 151, FBI Fingerprint Report and TB Tine Test.

Day to Day Substitutes
The Farrell Area School District contracts Day to Day Substitutes through Precision HR Solutions.

The Substitute positions include the following:
  • Teachers
  • Custodians
  • Paraprofessionals
