Dear Parent/Guardian:
In order to address the disruption in education caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and
to ensure that our students are ready for the 2021 - 2022 school year, the Farrell Area
School District is offering the WIN (What I Need) Summer Academy. During our
Summer Academy, we will be offering our students, in Grades 1 - 12, what they need by
way of Math, English, Reading and Science. In order to enhance the learning
experience, we will also be offering the following activities: Art, Music, Exercise, STEM,
Pottery, Tie Dying, Swimming and more. All classes will take place at the Farrell
Elementary School and the Farrell High School. We encourage all students who will
be in grades 1 - 12 for the upcoming school year to attend.
WIN will begin on Monday, June 7, 2021 and end on Thursday, July 15, 2021. It will be
held Monday - Thursday each week during the dates listed above beginning at 8:30 a.m
each day with breakfast, and ending at 12:00 p.m. with lunch. Please note that we will
not have classes on Fridays.
All students will enter the building through Door #18 (near the cafeteria).
In order to register your child for the WIN Summer Academy, please contact the
Elementary or High School office.
