Dear FASD Families,
On Friday, December 10, 2021, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court struck down the Acting Secretary of Health's school masking order. The aforementioned ruling went into effect immediately. Therefore, the Farrell Area School District will no longer mandate the wearing of a face mask or face covering.
While we strongly encourage wearing face coverings (in keeping with the recommendation from the Center for Disease Control) we will no longer mandate them. Effective immediately, masks and face coverings will be optional.
We appreciate your cooperation, understanding, and patience as we work together to mitigate the spread of the coronavirus, and to keep your child and you safe.
