Farrell Senior Offered Full Scholarship at Slippery Rock
Marissa Hopson signed her National Letter of Intent to attend Slippery Rock University to play basketball on a full scholarship. While attending SRU, she plans to study Engineering. Marissa was surrounded by her family, friends, teammates and coaches as she made her commitment to Slippery Rock. While at Farrell, Marissa has been a starter for the Lady Steelers since her freshmen year. Last year she averaged 16 points per game and helped lead the team to a District 10 Final where they finished runner-up. We wish Marissa the best in her senior season as a Lady Steeler and in her future at The Rock!
