Governor Tom Wolf, has ordered that all Pennsylvania schools remain closed through the end of the school year. We will continue to provide educational services through our Continuity of Education Plan. You can view a copy of this plan at the bottom of this page.
 
Free Internet Offer From Spectrum
Spectrum is offering free internet and Wi-Fi access for 60 days for households of K-12 students who do not currently have service. Call 1-844-488-8395 to sign up for this offer. Visit https://www.spectrum.net/support/internet/coronavirus-covid-19-educational-internet-offer for more information.
 
Free Lunch During Closure

Update 4-19-20: There will be a change to lunch and breakfast distribution. You can view the full announcement in the attachments at the bottom of this page. The information below reflects these changes. 

Free lunch and breakfast for the following day will be available for all students throughout the closure.
Lunch Pickup Time: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM (Note: Five total days of lunch and breakfast will still be distributed over these three days)
Pickup Locations:

  • Centennial Place
  • Chavers Center
  • Valley Baptist Church
  • Wheatland Borough Building

Lunches must be picked up and taken home. Students will not be permitted to eat at any of the pickup locations. Breakfast for the following day must be refrigerated immediately upon bringing it home.

Department of Human Services Support & Referral Helpline
The Department of Human Services (DHS) has launched a statewide Support & Referral Helpline staffed by skilled and compassionate staff who will be available 24/7 to assist Pennsylvanians struggling with anxiety and other challenging emotions due to the COVID-19 emergency and refer them to community-based resources that can further help to meet individual needs. 
 
The toll-free, round-the-clock support line is officially operational. The number to call is 1-855-284-2494. For TTY, dial 724-631-5600.
